Well done Darren, used to do these years ago and had a big collection back then, but they get lost in time, you must have a good collection of them now, do you keep them under glass?

Thanks Andy, I have half a dozen sat up on a shelf but not in a display case so unfortunately they are collecting dust. With all of the other stuff I collect I really don't have the space for them but enjoy making and painting them.

That's the only problem keeping the dust off i made a Sopwith camel a few years ago and still haven't got round to making a display case for it yet, I have done the base for it ready, i will dig it out and put a pic up later.
    Cheers

Looks great Andy, the base finishes it off nicely.

Thanks Darren, I was thinking of making a Fuel can and pump perhaps, then the glass frame.

Looking at the font glasis of the Cromwell, how simple would it have been to put on sloped armour instead of vertical,it would not have added much weight but the sloped armour would have afforded extra protection,a simple mod which could have been put in mid production, thoughts anyone,?,I like the way the model shows the solid thickness of the vertical front armour,
    Cheers,
    Don,
