In my 30 collector years,i never saw this glass cap and think it was very thin and destroyed in the water and ground if it was found?

The glas cover is mentioned in several non official sources (Erhard Koch, German EOD-handbook, there called Druckhaube / pressure cover).
I strongly believe these covers are a safety-item, when handling/inserting this highly sensitive fuze (requested pressure weight approx. 12 kg),
especially when used outside of a Glasmine as booby trap-igniter.

PS: unfortunately the piece in question is a complete replica, including glass cover! :tinysmile_shy_t:
