Having a spare half hour, decided to put the Teller under the angle grinder,as always the choice of where to cut is always the hardest ,a long process this one

Just finished this one ,I had to add two small brass plates to hold the cut spring in place ,they may get painted black to hide them a little

That turned out really nice Dave. What is your technique for using the expanding foam? Did you just tape in place the cardboard, spray behind it, and then peel the cardboard off later?

I fit pieces of Kingspan insulation (a dense insulation board used in the building trade ,Kingspan is the UK trade name ) behind the cardboard ,fixed in place by filler,I leave a vent hole then just take a guess and give it a good squirt with the expanding foam .After its set I just use a hacksaw blade /craft knife to cut away the excess
