Grenade Rifle No 23 rodded on Rifle .303" No 1 Mk 3

See my rifle ( UK deact) with sectioned grenade.
This is a Enfield rifle manufactured in 1908 and has the long range sight.
I think this should be No. 22.

Lovely items thanks for posting. Is the barrel of the SMLE able to take a long rod?

Unfortunately not. Due to the butchery perpetrated in the name of deactivation I have a rod about 2" long, which I had made and which just fits before it reaches the welded bolt. This bolt is at the end of the wide groove milled through into the rifling which extends down to another bolt at the breech end which stops cartridges being fed.
