250kg bomb found in Brondesbury park Brent the other day with twin fuze pockets, anyone dealing with it in EOD know what type they were. I was also wondering if most bombs found these days are all blown or are some dealt the old way such as trepanning a hole and steaming out the contents etc.

Generally, it's done by necessity only !
If it's a model of bomb we have not in work collection, it shall be emptied IF it is with all security possible.

Judging from the separate nose ogive and bolt holes on the cylindrical part of the body, I'd say it's the SC 500 B with rear cap missing.
