    Unknown large primers?

A friend has these 2 primers and is unsure what case they are for.

They actually fit Russian 122m Howitzer cases, but is this correct? What is the correct case?

Marked VST 44 (Finland?) and MS 26/44 (?).

He wonders if they could be for Soviet cases reloaded and used by another country?

    Thanks, Graeme

Yes, they are Finnish. VST means Valtion Sytytin Tehdas = State fuze factory. MS is a private manufacturer Matti Saurio. The primers are universal for used mainly for Russian and Finnish cases.
