    Torpedo part British or German ?

    This came up in a fishing net near Portsmouth in the UK does anyone know if its British or German and any other info on it ? Thank you for any help

    No rivets were used on german torpedoes after the initial versions of the G7a(TI) (ie mid/late 1920's), so definately not a german G7e variant. It's not a G7a(TI) as well (both G7a and G7e were made of steel).
    Most likely british, but I don't know much about them, so I can't give an id from this sparse info. Given that it's made of brass, it's certainly an older torpedo (WW1 or before), and german torpedoes of that era is of course also an option.
