Scan howitzer case.jpgHave a British 4.5 Howitzer cartridge case date stamped 27 3 17, made by D.C.P.C., Dominion Copper Products Company of Canada, Batch no. 125D. The primer is dated 11/17 and carries a stamp of CM accompanied by a broad arrow mark, also stamped below centre B/EB. Anyone any ideas re. these initials?

Mike.

Sorry about poor image. to top left of primer there are 2 faint broad arrows, one points 'upwards' another 'down' over the initials CM.
below the centre cap, the initials B/EB appear'

Would add the case has had a 'make over' as a planter, 3 copper ball feet have been added, rim turned out slightly and knurled, with 3 lines incised around the case, half way up.
