Found this one today at a fleamarket. Is completely empty. No marlkings. Has inside a kind off allwaysfuze system; Has anyone an idea? All sugestions are welcome. It seems to be made industrialymade.
It is a Chamier percussion grenade. It was a 1916-17 British experimental grenade, seen in several versions as the design progressed. A contract was placed with Components Munitions Ltd for 1,044 grenades for trials purposes, but whether the full quantity was delivered is not clear.
