Dear Friends,

here latest catch - I would appreciacte Your Support by finding out what´s the official
Designation on item and fuze. Manual or cutaway-photo would be great.

Seller had stated as a Russian Naval mine - I believe it is a Variation of the
anti-landing-mine PDM-2 (which is from appearance similar but doesn´t have the
6-little arms with the bolts, but a solid Connection-adaptor for the heavy-base-plate /
which is here not existing).

Hope to get some help from our Members from Russian-speaking countries.

Thank You already in advance!

Cheers,

Ralf

ALL displaed Items are FFE / 100% INERT in accordance with LAWS.

-The explosives filler hole of a PDM 2 was much larger.
-The PDM-2 did not have this ring of screws
-Mine fuzes do not tipically have these locking wires.
-If it's PDM 2 , the ball diameter should be 270mm.

My guess is that it is a nitrogen or air pressure vessel for the steering system of a missile..
But that's just a guess.

Hello PZGR40 and BLU97,
thank You for providing with Your Help the identification.
BLU97´s drawing makes it very clear that it is the pressure-tank - I´ve bought in
my eyes a peace of scrap - in the hope to have something uncommon.
That´s how the game goes, at least this time.

Cheers,

Ralf

I hope you did not pay too much for it :(
If the seller sold you this as a PDM -2 I'd try to get my money back.

Regards, DJH

You know - as collector You are always behind for something new and exeptionel :tinysmile_hmm_t:
so I got in the past already the one or other "unknown" item for fair Money and
sooner or later You´ll also find the Details.
No I had not purchased as a PDM-2 (on which a have really good documentation),
but as a Variation of Russian naval Training mine. I am already behind and actually
it seems that I have a deal with the seller. Let´s see how it continious :tinysmile_grin_t: hopefully
good since this would be fair and easy way.

Cheers,
Ralf

...everything went out good and the Seller did compensate this in an absolute fair Gentlemen-Solution.

Cheers,
Ralf
