Who was Wing Commander Wilfred Wynter Morgan in WW2?

Trying to trace the WW11 career of Wing Commander Wynter Morgan, ordnance expert and WW1 expert in machine guns.I have him visiting RAF Helensburgh, home of the Marine Aircraft Experimental Establishment during the second World War.

thanks TimG, that fits in why he would have visited RAF Helensburgh as MAEE was involved in bouncing bomb trials at Loch Striven.
