German Incendiaries

I thought I'd post a few photos of 3 of my WW2 German Incendiaries, as they don't come out of the cabinet too often.

This one has a rough inscription on the side and came without fins or nose; the inscription says; 'descended on London May 10th 1941 outside 74 Upper St'. Upper Street is in the Islington area of London.

This next one has; 'March 1941 Thames Haven Essex' painted on the fins; this has been re-painted at some time, but you can just see the original writing under the new paint. For those who don't know, Thames Haven is an oil refinery, on the north side of the Thames, east of London.

Finally, this one turned up on the scrap heap at a local farm. It had only been there a couple of weeks and wasn't too badly corroded. It has a different colour and type of fin than most I have seen.
