brass object ( fuze ?)

new identification
i have thos object , and i dont know what it could be neither the era or country ...
made of brass , with a striker at one hand , and graduations at the other end
maybe a fuze , or a ... i dont know
if someone have information on it i'll be greatfull

Looks more like a fluid/fuel filter or adaptor,The second image seems to show a filter element.
 
hello yes there is a filter element , but no hole for circulation of fluid or gaz ... and on the fifth pic on the center you can see the striker.
and there is graduations on the top of the object , and you can set the graduation by rotating the top band .

there also a LOT typical of amunitions parts

all made of brass , make me think at something made for the sea , depth charge fuze or somethink else ....

it's very heavy
 
The general shape and material is typical for depth charge fuzes. Sadly the Mine Disposal Handbook is missing most of the british/french stuff.
