Is the projectile not Polish?
This ww1/ww2 french shell was sold to Poland too (yellow paint like French)
German used it as captured ammo during ww2.

I noticed an interesting detail : your shell is fitted with a lower band made without groove. On the Polish diagram (30's) the shell has the same lower band. On french diagram showed by Yoda we can see the change of band shape with interwar fuzes. I only saw french 37mm mle16 shells with two driving bands with groove. So I don't know when they changed the shape of the lower band and if it was definitive. As far as I'm aware this combination of bands (one with groove, the other without groove) was used on 37mm AP shot model 35 and 37.
Look a the lower band without groove of these Polish shells (shot model 16 and HE model 16)
