I found a 57x410R86.2 WW1.US experimental Nordenfelt. Nothing more about it and no other example turned up.

Just noticed on photo of base BSCo, =Bethlehem Steel Company, which was a US maker of ordnance.

Could you show a side view of the case, and give diameter of the head across the rim, please? Is it 86.2mm, as The Otter has mentioned?

If the shell makes 86.2 mm, I have another equal of 47x415mm Vickers and 68mm in the same marcage
