French 37x202 Tube round. Used as aiming gun in larger naval guns and in aircraft. Comes with many different projectiles, some shared with the 37x94 Hotchkiss.

French 37mm AP model 1892 (filled black powder) with base fuze model 1886 Marine
(used on ww1 battlefields)

Hello MinenAZ16, I have a question, If I am not mistaken, this shell was also used on the 37-85 "classic" case? but were these used on other casings? And if it's the case which ones are they? Thanks.

The projectiles used were used in both 94mm and 202mm cases. I have at least 8 varieties in the 202 case. The same dimension case was used by the Italians in their 37/40 round. I have about 8-9 of these in different projectiles. See Mellichamps book, vol. 1, p.577 for drawings and info,

As far as I know, 94mm, 202mm and also 137mm (same as Bethlehem)

Your 37x202 case is dated for 1937 with what appears to be a plug instead of a primer.
By this date it seems (and I could be wrong) that this case was mainly used for subcalibre practice
which was the original purpose. The projectiles for this could be the 1916 solid shot or Mle 31 of the same
that uses a tracer, your projectile with the fuze removed and perhaps plugged Mle 1888 common shell. What ever I suppose the Navy
had on hand at the time, but from examples found the solid shot types or de-fuzed Mle 1892s predominate. I would suggest
putting your projectile into a 37x94 case dated 1898 - 1918 or a 1917 700 lot series BSC 37x136 case or a pre 1919 37x202 case.
