Bit torn on what to do here, Qualcast grenade dated 1940, leave as lighter or make back to grenade? Only missing striker and spring and only small hole drilled into top to accept wick.
Body, lever, baseplug and plate marked "Q" shellac coat complete.
Interesting point is the flint striker is made from original striker, drilled to take flint with small wheel attachment drilled then set with small pin. Projector plate has green velvet on bottom.
Has been very well done to be honest, and quite sympathetically done. I don't smoke, but have filled with lighter fluid and put new flint in it.
