The hacksaw managed to break out of the locked toolbox today and got to work. It was far more difficult than I had anticipated as the dart is very firmly bonded into the plastic sabot.

The projectile has 6 x plastic petals however inside these are embedded 4 x alloy petals.

Dave.

Complete (inert) round with projectile and newly sectioned projectile.

Remains of plastic petals from the removed section. Not easy to remove!
