30mm ADEN or DEFA rounds?

Hi,

Can anyone help with information on these 30mm cannon rounds?

The first has a 113mm steel case which is headstamped "30-550-DEFA 15-MP-77"

The projectile is firmly crimped in the case and is stamped "19".

The unusual part is that the projectile is much longer than the standard 30mm DEFA projectile. Approx. Length of the complete round is 228mm.

I've seen a post of a similar round by Ken68 where it was suggested that it was a mis-match with a projectile from a different round, but this projectile and case are firmly crimped together.

The second round has a 112mm brass case with no head stamp or markings in the rim.

The projectile has a removable ballistic cap and various internal components, but no markings.

Approx. Length of the complete round is 199mm.

Any information on either round would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

Gary

First case looks to be a fired example.Unfired cases have a slight shoulder.
For the DEFA cannon it would need to be the correct overall length, this one would be too long.
Could be something like a Rarden/HSS/Oerlikon 30mm proj. as a 'stuffer'.

Second one looks more likely, something like an APHE projectile.
