Hi all,
I have a book on Great war munitions which has a couple of ink stamps with the legend "G D Peters & Co" which I am told used to manufacture munitions during the Great war.
All I can find out about them is that they produced components for tube trains from around 1906 up until 1960's. I'm sure like most other engineering firms they turned production to a war footing during that period.
Does anyone know anything about this company insofar as ammunition goes, specifically what did they produce? Artillery shells, Mills bombs, mortars?
Many thanks in advance,
D
