German Manufactured M39 37x250R HE Round

This one (I actually scored two of these) is pretty scarce as far as I can tell...

It is a German manufactured round for the Russian M39 AA gun...37x250R.

The case is a German made copy of the Russian case...the projectile is the same Kriegsmarine projectile used in the 37x380R SK C/30 FlaK round...

I filled, sanded and repainted the projectile, as it was devoid of paint and appeared water recovered, so had some deep pitting...but the stamps were pretty much untouched, and projectile and fuze both have Kriegsmarine WaA stamps...

Not a lot of info on these out there, not even my German ammo references...but super cool in my book...

It is next to a couple of 20x138B's a German AP, and Italian HE I got from the same guy...

Wow, excellent Flak-R round, they just seem to super scarce, and there is very limited info out there on them....

And I am so jealous of that 37x350R Kriegsmarine round, simply fantastic, with the original paint, that is one of the nicest I have ever seen...maybe someday I will get to add one to my collection...
