Hello,

Maybe we already talked about this ID.
I can't remember where and when I found these pictures from the web.
No details in my computer files.
As Italian used this kind of round and new typical rounds with allways fuze (Olergon type), first I thought it was an Italian practice. Maybe not.

This round seems to be fitted with an all ways fuze. Holes could match with a practice shell (Italian used a different ogival round with same holes for practice and spotting charge).

Regards

Now I'm quite sure the fuze is from the same family as Austro Hungarian "Universalaufschlagzünder" for 9cm M16 and 12cm M15.

Hi,
thanks for the info, so in your opinion this is A-H fuze [construction/producer?], not German?
I'm just making a description for this type shells.

What you think about origin country of shell? 1916 probably. UK or US? US from one .pdf about smoke shells have a other head/booster.
This type had a fuse with an internal thread, then removed for external thread A.Z. fuze.

I have a new piece with German cartridge: R 12 * 12
