WWII German 7,5cm Pak 40 Steel Case Exterior Finish

I have had my hands on approx. 10 or so Pak 40 cases in good condition in the last three years. I have yet to see one with a copper wash or brass plating finish. They appear to have a brown lacquer or light grey finish to them. Does anyone have any examples of a German made brass case or one with a nice copper/brass finish remaining? What variations do you find in Europe? I have had my hands on a very nice brass Pak 40 case, but it was French made and dated 1962. For comparison purposes, I have approx. 60 nice Pak 38 5cm and 10 x 7,5cm KwK cases with excellent brass wash/copper plating finishes. None of my Pak 40 cases have a finish like these. Your input is greatly appreciated.

According to my knowledge there do not exist brass made German cases, only steel and steel brass washed. They do exist in brass as Norwegian (M1940) and French (post-war).

This one was sold some years ago on Egun.

Here are some of mine. The ones on the left are the brown lacquer variety. Of course, two of these projectiles are for 7,62 cm Russian F-22 antitank guns converted to Pak 36 (r).
