Hello,

I heard about a nose bomb fuze no 870 (modified no 845)
Is it a legend ?

Regards

I have found something in Peter Voß from his book, 98 British Bombenfuze, up to 1945.

Thanks guys.
Deminest quotes the ww2 German expertise but I'd like to know if there is a reference in official British documentation.

My unofficial lists do not list the 870. The nearest I have to an official publication is "British Bomb & Rocket Pistols and Fuzes 1914 - 2007" by David Andrews and Alan Swan. They make no mention of it either.

In all my English documents only model 845 is mentioned. From an 870 nothing is known. Harry
