1.5 INCH BATON (1970’s Rubber Bullet)

Recently purchased from Belfast, I spoke with the seller and received a refund.

The material feels slightly softer than genuine batons.
There are moulding marks and defects that are the same on all three, indicating that they were cast in the same mould.
Defects are most obvious around the ‘drive band’.
The mould parting line is off-centre at the nose.
There are a few tiny bubble holes present, indicating that these were made by a liquid pour.

Beware these fakes that have appeared on eBay recently - listed by two sellers strangely enough both based in Strabane, NI (likely same person):

One buyer has left feedback recognising that item is copy and stating that seller refused to accept return; unfortunately others have been fooled and paid top whack for these.
