    Unknown 90 mm case

Found two of these, one dated 1966 the other 1967.

Total length of case : 351 mm

Could it be a blank ?

Andy, the two rings appear to have increased the diameter of the case neck, which would prevent the case from chambering. I think the rings are therefore a trench art decoration, and if they are, then the crimping is probably also a later decoration by someone using the case as a vase.

The case might be from an Eland armoured car.
Wanted: Baton/Irritant rounds (inert) and associated items, WW2 British shotgun cartridge boxes (empty), Greener Police Gun cartridge boxes (empty). Message me if you have any of these items for sale/trade.
