Have two small inert CF cartridges that originally had small sticky labels with the following:
(i) 22VShort
(ii) 7mmFrench?
Is it possible that the 'V' in (i) could mean 'very' or 'Velo?'
Would be grateful if anyone could provide clarification, or additional background information.
The dimensions of the two, in mm, are:
(i)
Case: 12.65
Rim: 7.00
Base: 6.05
Bullet: 5.06
OAL: 18.30
(ii)
Case: 13.85
Rim: 9.05
Base: 7.80
Bullet: 7.40
OAL: 21.60
I have a feeling that both are French, but; have found no definitive answers.
No headstamps.
Any help in identification would be much appreciated.
