This canteen was reported as a CIA boobytrap devices used in Cambodia and Laos. I do not think it is CIA, too complex construction. It is not part of the 308 special devicecs nor is it like the WW II German boobytrap canteen. So need an IDBritish Ordnance Collectors Network
