Hello,
I'm looking for a right ID this 3in illuminating shell. I think a navy Mk 21, 22, 24 or 28 but i dont' know differences. Fuze is TSQ M54 strange enough, it seems didn't use by navy.

Does the shell used in 3in aircraft gun M3? This question due to dug find on gothic line Italy
any help appreciated.

all the best

I checked my US Army ammunition tables dated 1941, and there are no illumination rounds listed for 3 inch guns.

Hello Fert,
76mm star shell, originally navy shape, Mk25. As far as I know, used with super sherman gun.
Regards
