    Factory Code

    Does anyone know what country and factory HBG stands for?

    According to MIL-HDBK-1461A it's HOLMBERG INC. (USA)
    Could also be german Alfred Schwarz AG, Metallwerk Froedenburg on the Ruhr, Eisenach plant

    Correct, only remarks that German hbg is typed in lower case, not in uppercase.
