I recently saw an unusual 105mm Case for sale. I believe it was Belgian made by MMJ.
It was clearly based on the widely used US designed 105mm M14 case.
The markings were roughly 105 MM M15 above MMJ - (LOT) - (DATE). It was defnitely marked "M15" as opposed to M14.
The case length was around 8 inches (200mm).
The case mouth looked to have been factory shortened, and not roughly cut down with a saw.
There was no primer fitted, although it was threaded to accept a screw-in primer, as opposed to the press-fit type used with the standard M14 cases.
Does anyone have any more information on this case, what was its intended use?
Thanks for any replies.
