This item came with WW1 British and French grenades. Any idea what it is?
It is well pitted with no visible markings made from steel.
The rod has been sawn off. Has a brass pin holding steel insert. Different diameter to cut under the detonator plate (bit missing?)
Dimensions are:

150mm overall.
130mm body
46mm diameter
35.5mm detonator plate diameter.
10mm rod.
1.75mm thread pitch. (or 14 TPI?)

Hello,

I think you have a rare and nice example of Belgian Saint Chamond grenade for 142mm mortar Delattre-Saint Chamond (ww1)
