1" Blue Flare and KF Dark Ignition Illuminating.

I show two interesting Flare signals from my collection. Both are 1".

The Blue flare is brass case with dark blue paper at the mouth. Rim is milled top and bottom quarters.
Headstamped J.P.&S. 1V . Blue flares were obsolete in LoC 15838 (July 1911) and this NPE case was possibly not loaded due to being obsolete?
The extract is from British "Treatise on Ammunition 1902". (Reference supplied by TimG with thanks).

The KF (Kirkee) is a scarce Illuminating J Mk11T with a dark ignition top-wad. Loaded on 5-10-40. No headstamp.
