    Unknown projo, fined,

    Length 830mm, length to obturating ring 590mm, dia 115 and up to 117mm in places..jpg Unknown projectile, approx 830 mm long and 115mm in dia, though at points it can be 117mm. Found in western Iraq near Syrian boarder.
    any live or dug ordnance shown in my posts was dealt with by EOD personell

    Is that wet patch on the ground from the projectile?

    Looks like a large mortar round with stabilizing fins that open after its left the barrel. The writing i can see is + 09 and a 2

    I have ID'd it as the Chinese 120mm DHTL-1, PZC RAP, Mortar. Got more pictures but no tech data
    any live or dug ordnance shown in my posts was dealt with by EOD personell

    that is the same one, I was able to get better pictures but still no technical information
