    Belgian 105 mm round

    Hi all,

can someone identify what this round used to be? it was found in Belgium, but they used a lot of different 105 mm guns in service like the Leopard, Centurion and AMX tanks. i couldn't find any info looking up the stamps on the projectile. i'm guessing its HE but i'm not sure so please correct me if i'm wrong

would love to know what it looked like before it got smashed!

(also i can't seem to find the option to turn the images upright )

By rotating band and crimp groove it appears to be a 105 Howitzer HE projectile.

thanks for the info! it was found on a shooting range that was used for training with tanks and such so that might be possible
