Hello everyone!
I need your help again! Who knows the correct use of this US bomb lock type B-7. It is smaller than the normal version. It was found with a MC 500 at a crash site. I am grateful for any information about the item. Harry

The B-7 is a common shackle used by the US Air force during WWII. It was interchangeably used with the B-10 Shackle. They both had similar load capacity. The B-10 shackle appears to be more commonly found now days. The B-7 shackle was used on the B-25's in the Bombay and under the wing. The B-7's were used in all the American bombers for that matter. Working Load Limits, I think, are 1,200 pounds or less.
