    Who knows what this is?

    i recently got this projectile offered to me by a friend, but i can't seem to figure out what exactly this is. unfortunatly i don't have any better pics than these.
    does somebody know what it is?

    from the stamping on the side it looks to be a 105mm tank base eject smoke shell. missing a driving band and should be able to see up inside from the bottom.

    It is a Shell 105mm Tank Base Ejection Screening Smoke for the 105mm L7 tank gun. There were two variations within the only mark, and Empty Design Dwg. SX958 is the later one.

    105mm tank, smoke shell. Made by Royal Laboratory, as part of lot number 63, in March 1970.
