Hi to all this is I believe a British ww1 dated flat topped 6 inch test/proof projectile which were used to proof new guns and to test major repairs/replacements on guns in use, it has quite a few stamps/markings on the base 1 (MK1) 6" ,f.s forged steel and a unknown to me maker CH/MR also on the body of the projectile is 100lb (weight) A 326 which I think is a test number associated with its use and the gun which used it so when fired it could be recovered and inspected to check function of the gun also has many inspection stamps and broad arrows ,if anyone can help with the i.d of the maker it would be appreciated thanks
