Hello, Please could anyone help me and tell me what Gun would have used this?

I think I have maybe come up with answers on the markings

But anymore help appreciated in case I have it incorrect.

PATRONENFABRIK KABISRUHE - Cartridge Factory. SP255 - Spandau inspection mark
JULI 1918
Standard twin flaming bombs for this manufacturer.

The Base measures 275mm and the Height 420mm although may have been reduced , as can be seen from the photographs at one time it was made into a Tea Urn.

Thank you for any help given.

Just a thought but could this have once been a 24cm SK L40 case, the rim size would match. The combination of a marine style primer and German army style of dating (month rather than Roman numerals) may indicate a case used for land warfare, probably a rail mounted gun. The original length should have been 1032mm, there is a good picture and further information on the Kaiser's Bunker website.
