2 cm Flak fuze for HE-T round identification

VC54002

Greetings,

Yesterday this forum was recommended to me so this is my first post.

I am trying to find information about this fuze for a high explosive tracer 2 cm flak round. It is dated 1937 and was sent to Spain for the Civil war so I assume it is an early variant. Any information about it is appreciated.

If the pictures aren't clear enough all the markings are:

mM
RhS
37
WaA 424
3e

Hola VC54002

Very similar to 20x80RB Oerlikon MG FF Explosive Tracer Self-Destroyer ....yellow body purple stripe
German manufacture used during and a few years after the S panish Civil War.

Hi, thanks for the information.

I have just noticed that the projectile has this marking:

From what I have seen most of 20x80RB projectiles have this marking unlike 20x138 ones so it makes sense that it is a 20x80RB projectile inside a 20x138 cartridge case.

Was this marking used only for Luftwaffe ammunition?

All the shots used by the Luftwaffe * aircraft * have that logo stamped between them the 20x80RB and the 20x82.The 20x138RB do not carry them.
Municion enviada a España por el plan bar para armar los Bf-109E-4 en la guerra civil esa municion no era todavia empleada por esos aviones.
