I have this panzerbusche 39 round i was wondering if it’s possible to determine what type of mauser projectile has been stuck in. I found this useful PDF on another thread http://www.lexpev.nl/downloads/ringbuchinfanterie.pdf and couldn’t quite determine what projectile diagram matched. Hopefully some of you guys can help! Thanks!

I don't think this bullet belongs to the case.
To compare a Picture of the cartridge.

It seems that there were more than one projectile.
It looks that You have the plain lead training one.

So Nabob that would be Patrone 318 Üb?

thanks a ton i still have a lot to learn about this area.

yes, me too,
there are people who collect only small arms ammo, only war time ammo, only german wartime ammo.....one of my friends collects only 7,92x57 Mauser ammo...

...but, if it doesnt have a fuze, why bother :)

There is probably someone, maybe a member here, who knows the name of the gate guard of the factory that manufactured your round.

If the round is a 318 Üb he must have a green anullus color.
Most cases have also a triangle in the base.

The one missing on the paper is the "Treibpatrone 318" for the use with rifle grenades.
