Here is a dug up unknown bullet found in the UK...anyone have any ideas?

Hi CampX,
This is a bullet for one of the early rifled muzzle-loaders; I don't know which one for sure, but it might be for a Jacob's. The bullets were cast with the raised lugs so they could be loaded fairly easily, but would be spun by the rifling.

I agree with Roger. That is an early pre-rifled bullet, probably for a Jacob's rifle.

Thanks Guys..After more research I have found photos of one of them..it is for a Jacobs Rifle..and I understand it is rather rare.
