Mills Grenade

Hi Guys,

I'll take this opportunity to say hello everyone on the forum!

I have a quick question, I've just sold a WWI Mills Grenade and I'm seeking advise on what is the best postage method for the UK (it's in England and is being posted to England).

I've read loads of posts, but most of them relate to inert ordnance being posted internationally from the UK.

There is some reasonably new rules, especially from the Royal Mail, which indicates that ordnance, inert or otherwise cannot be posted.

Does anyone have any suggestions of which courier to use? I've considered Hermes but I'm not too impressed by their track record. Ideally, I would like tracking and a signature on delivery.

Thanks in advance.

Not allowed to post a mills through royal mail, couriers should ask whats in the parcel if thy dont and it gets pulled you loose it, its a slow death of our collecting interests and its all in the name of terrorism,,,,,,, Dave

Thanks Dave,

So is there a particular courier / service that you would recommend?

By the way, your Mills identification site is excellent!

Thanks, Colin.
