044.JPG024.jpg While SA was down, got to looking for new sites & fount this lot ( on far left, only photo) with description say "LOT OF 4 DUMMY GRENADES"
Took a chance on it & paid more than I was really wanting to ( $275 USD) & got 'em in yesterday. 026.jpg027.jpg030.jpg032.jpg033.jpgNO centre tube on Mills, but other than that, I think I came out OK on the lot. Haven't had a chance to look up markings on No.5 with my Shiny new TGRM yet, but cant wait. Don't recognize the MKII either, so looking forward to a little investigating!!

Nice lot. The US Mk II is a nice early one. What site did you find them on?

I ran across them on ICOLLECTOR, they were a part of big estate gun sale if I'm not mistaken.

Roger Dudley Foundrey on Base. There is an "I" on 3rd seg. Down from fill plug. looking in TGRM, I found "IBR" ""I.G.Co." & "IHR" but no manufacturer for "I". Any Ideas who "I" may refer to Darryl?

Tim, your fuze is showing reinforcing fibers unraveling from the Safety Time Fuse.

The Mk.1 Illuminating Fuze has The Quick Match Starter attached to the bottom of the Safety Time Fuse.

Stay safe,

Frank
