Photos of two recently dissected M54 Fuzes. One is PA (presumably Picatinny Arsenal), the other is S M Co. I find one of these about every two years. The lower threads for attachment to the shell are always gone, as is the SQ set-screw. The location of the SQ set-screw is always corroded, pretty much back to the central pillar. The two brass time rings are always distorted. I have not yet found a blind shell fitted with an M54 Fuze.
