1 inch Gatling Query

I picked this one up recently, my first wrapped copper case :tinysmile_hmm_t2:
Its a 1 inch Gatling.....I think.
What puzzles me is the case dimensions. Its 96mm long with a rim diameter of 31mm (both measured with a ruler so may be slightly out).
The longest Gatling I have listed has a 89mm case length.
The only round with similar dimensions is a 1 inch Jingal which according to the cartridge list I have has the same dimensions as mine.
Anyone got any ideas?
The previous owner pulled this one and it was full of black powder, now fully INERT so its definitely the correct case length.
I've shown it next to a Martini Henry rifle round for scale.
Thanks.
Dave.

A Jingal is a Chinese wall rifle, similar to the British military .8 inch.

Ken Elks new book on Chinese ammo will be avaialble in the next two weeks I will have copies when I get back from St.Louis after Easter.

140 pages, full colour in the same style as the Japanese ammo books. Price will probably be 32.00 plus P&P.

I think the French made some wrapped Nordenfelt cases.

DeHek Volume 3 lists a 25.4x95R French Nordenfelt with a 30.9mm rim, but this is a drawn case.
