25mm Hotchkiss 1938 AA Gun Italian purchse

I have this date plate which was sent to me from Russia. I saw the name Hotchkiss
so got it for fun. Now that I have it identified I wonder about the Italian use of this gun,
not something I know anything about. There were 10 Italian divisions in Russia so this
would explain the gun/s being there. Can any one tell me more.

AA= Anti Ariens = Anti Aircraft. 25 - 25mm , Gun # 95

Hotchkiss 938 = the year 1938 , 938 is a particularly Italian way of dating things.
Where this plate was attached I don't know.

I was sent this image of the head stamp of a casing for the gun --

I bought the plate on ebay and it came from Russia, no doubt of that. So it either got there with
Italian forces or It was made for Italy never delivered but taken into French service and re-issued
into German forces and they took it to Russia.
