Well-Known Member
Does anyone know what containers the motors and heads and fins came in for 3in rockets @ 1944-45
Cheers

Hi Hangarman,
I've got a wooden case for 2 rocket motors ,they were shipped inside in cardboard tubes.
The fins were in a similar style of case ,though about 16" x16"x4".
Will photograph at some stage but currently buried under my boxed collection!

cheers Bob

Hello Hanger Man, Hold fire on the carpentry, I have one of these boxes available. Would be interested in trading for some items to fill in the gaps of the various lumps I have that are either missing fins or the casings.

Send me an e-mail if interested.

Hi, As promised, photos of Rocket box available for trade, I have 2 or 3 of these but want to keep a couple back as they are used in a diarama display.

anything that IDs the box. Look for the SV number as a starter and the Designation, date and manufacturer codes should be near it.
