Hi all,
decided to restore,make happy again, some 303's & looking for info to get them as right as possibal! so here goes;
WW1 US manufactured,headstamp US16 VII, is the bullet nickle or copper coloured?
Aircraft grade tracer,seem to remember seeing somewhere that these had coloured tips even though "land sevice" ones did not? headstamps K4 1942 GII & KE 1942 GIII,is this correct & if so what colours would they have been? last stupid question is colour of tip on K5 1942 BVIIZ also aircraft grade? and also would these bullets be nickle or copper coloured?
Any photo's of originals would be very helpfull too:tinysmile_shy_t:
Cheers Tony

The US case would have a cupro-nickel (silver) bullet.

The GII and GIII tracers did not have any tip colours. They are found with both gilding metal (copper) and CN bullet jackets, but my examples with the same headstamp as yours are both CN (silver)

The BVIIz should have a dark blue tip and a GM (Copper) bullet jacket.

Cheers
