37mm projectile ID

I'm asking on behalf of my friend if anyone could idfentify this projectile. Caliber is 37mm and no markings.

With the shape of the driving band and the case crimping groove I would have said it was a 2 Pounder 40 mm with a home made dummy nose piece !
Has it been accurately measured for calibre ?

I'm with Chris on this one, check the calibre and see if the nose unscrews.

My mate is going to check this and inform us. The item is in USA.

Body diameter is 39,4mm and total length 199mm. The nose is made of brass. So, this seems to be a 2-pounder with fantasy nose?
